The update is available at a charge of $195 to all purchase-type users, and is free to all current subscribers. Elite Software Inc. Donates $10,000 to Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts and Offers Software Subscription Relief for Gulf Coast Clients

GAINESVILLE, FL, September 28, 2005 - In response to widespread damage throughout the Gulf Coast caused by Hurricane Katrina, Elite Software Inc. ('ESI') is providing the following support:

$10,000 in cash donations have been provided to The American Red Cross and United Way to assist with relief efforts.

Subscription payments are suspended for the rest of the year for qualified clients in the areas affected by storms whose businesses have been damaged or destroyed.

"On behalf of Elite Software Inc., and its employees, we send our deepest sympathies and condolences to all of those affected by Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath," said the Director of Operations. "The catastrophic situation created by this hurricane is a crushing blow to the residents of the Gulf Coast, and we are committed to doing what we can to help our clients get back on their feet."

Offer Custom Gift Cards to Your Clients

AlaCard One features creative custom gift cards that are re-loadable and gift cards with UPC codes for easier scanning with a bar code reader.

Elite's new 6.2 release makes it easy to use gift cards.

When a gift certificate is being partially redeemed, the program will simply "deduct" the amount used instead of requiring the user to re-issue/enter a new gift certificate for the remaining balance. This cuts down the number of steps required to redeem a gift certificate.

Gift certificate history. This is a BIG enhancement, where the user will be able to view any gift certificate and obtain the transaction details; including the date a gift certificate was redeemed, transaction number and time.
